Yesterday was big - HUGE even

Yesterday we made a lot of big decisions:

1) We aren't going to rent - nope we are going to find a house- we have a new realtor - spring is on its way. The house will be found. Soon.

2) We need to buy a new tv. Stat. Circuit City going out of business is our gain. We never make impulsive purchases but we did last night. Say hello to a big fat flat television - that is now relegated to a corner of the basement. One day soon we are going to have a house and be able to play MarioKart in high definition goodness.

3) We are going to get rid of the sube. My brother was selling his Honda Accord for a price that couldn't be beat - with minimal miles (it's like the car owned by a grandma that only drives it to church) and the car has automatic entry and a cd player that works and it doesn't smoke and shake while driving on the freeway. We don't have high standards. Soon we'll take a picture to showcase the new bad boy.

4) Finally, I saw this car parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot last night. Apparently, Maury Povich has a night job and from the looks of it apparently a lot of people had some paternity questions that needed answers - at 9:30 pm. STAT.

Oooh. This is big. BIG! I admire your decisiveness. Your faith in buying a TV that will fit in your someday-home is like our faith in buying a fire pit on a crazy sale (of course), in the hope of not living in an apartment forever. Onward and upward!

Additionally, I love Mr. Povich's fancy ride. And find it very fitting that the license plate is from NEVADA.

Those jerks were supposed to wait for me in the Wal Mart parking lot AFTER you fell asleep. I don't think the $370 was worth it.

Wow--you guys are serious adults! You can make decisions like nobody's business. I'm impressed. Now, when can we except Ross to make an appearance on Mr. Connie Chung's TV show?

You are always in motion--getting things done. I love it. I'm actually glad you're not moving yet. We're having way too much fun playing hide and go seek in around your furniture.

Don't knock Maury Povich. His paternity testing told me who my father was, who the father of each of my 8 children were and also gave me some insight into why my chosen career as a stripper may not be the best "role model" profession for my kids.

I owe my life to him.

P.S. That sticker isn't put on straight. Ugh.

when we were in Georgia last summer, we heard an ad on the radio offering all sperm donors $200 for their "goods" ... haha, I'm not gonna lie, it was a tempting ad..but aside from the fact that it's strongly discouraged by the Church, we also didn't want Maury knocking on our door in 20 years with "Scott-look-a-likes" :-/
