The Luckiest Day of Our Lives

Last night we set off to attend the Jazz /Celtics game at the arena formerly known as Delta. Only, when we presented our tickets at the door, the guy told us there was something wrong with them and we would have to talk to the ticketing people. After waiting a while in line, an attendant took our tickets and disappeared for several minutes. When she finally came back, she informed us they had somehow resold the tickets and were scrambling to find some for us in the sold-out arena. What the?

This story has a happy conclusion because not only did they find tickets, but they were on the 4th row. Once the manager confirmed we were Jazz fans, he handed us the tickets saying "this is the luckiest day of your life." Maybe not of my life (I'm thinking employee hot dog day at 120 North LaSalle), but it was pretty awesome. Kudos to the Jazz org for taking care of us and taking responsibility for their mistake. They did a great customer service job and when we were leaving the building after the Jazz won - the ticket counter lady even recognized us and asked if we were happy with the outcome. Nicely done - I think we'll go back again.

Let's face it - the luckiest day of your life was the day I agreed to marry you. Second luckiest? Free hot dog day. Third luckiest? The day I said you could buy those star wars legos. Fourth luckiest? When I agreed to go to the jazz game (ugh). Fifth luckiest? Getting good seats so I could do some serious people watching so I wouldn't make you leave early.

You know that was the real luckiest day of my life. I just have a rep to uphold to the general public. I'm wild - a rebel. Dangerous.

It would only be the luckiest day of your lives if that was a UNC game.

Greg, I respectfully disagree... the LUCKIEST day of your life was the day we all voted against the man-skirt and saved you from that sure-to-be-humiliating fashion debut!

Did you know that this game was on National TV and I watched it, wishing I was there. KTC is not fully appreciating the magnitude of one of the luckiest days of your lives. The game was even a great one that ended in a victory.
Another reason I wish I was KTC.

We kept making out and/or dancing the hustle during the time outs hoping that they would put us on national tv, but no luck.

Those time outs sound a lot like the time you and Kitty saw Hotel Rwanda.

Ross, you and I both know the luckiest day of you life was on a beautiful spring day a few years back. It all began at the O'Hare airport Chili's as we embarked on our adventurous journey together. Oh, and I think Kitty might have been there, too. Everything else pales in comparison.

Toddcat - let's face it - Ross's luckiest day ever was when we agreed to go to Spain with him. We let him get away with a lot.

We really did. Sometimes it was like herding cats trying to lead that loud American around.
