this is a big one

I (we) are so so so so so so grateful that yesterday it became official . . . we sold our Chicago loft. Not just put it under contract - nope - sold/closed/finished/finito. Our buyer was a piece of work but we managed to negotiate and make it happen - without letting our emotions get in the way (it was tough). Selling our home in this market is pretty much a miracle of all miracles. While we still miss our friends (immensely) we are just grateful that with our home sold this means that maybe just maybe we might be able to buy a new place and live a little bit closer to work. I mean riding the love bus is fun but it gets really, really old.

YAY! Kris Tina, that's SO exciting (even though we can't sleep on the floor of your old house anymore...;-)

Congrats!

Congrats on selling the loft. Now you can focus on selling my house.

I think you don't like the love bus as much because it's just not the same now that Ross is riding with you. For a while you were like a single girl cruising on the love bus and getting looks from all single boys. Since Ross is there to ride with you the love bus ride to party central (BYU) has lost it's charm. Maybe if you and Ross didn't sit next to each other the excitment might pick up again.

Oh Todd - you are ridiculous. The reason I don't like the love bus is simply because it takes FOREVER. I mean, sure, we take our portable dvd player and have been able to watch a lot of 30 rock and extras. But honestly, yesterday I think the love bus is what made me feel sick. Sick of the commute.

Congratulations on selling the loft!
Which Provo 'hood are you going to buy in? Or not Provo?

PS- Have you seen torso cozies for HUGE pregnant bellies? It would look awesome. And it is getting cold here. :)

*$%#^@#!! It was only a matter of time until you would have been forced to except my cool, 20K offer.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I am so glad you can get that stress off your shoulders! I am also expecting you to use your earnings to purchase me a portable DVD player. And perhaps a driver so that while I'm in the car I can watch some good stuff. Like The Pacifier.

You guys are really lucky. I'm happy for you. But admittedly sad that now you are going to live in Utah County.

Yahoo! I'm so excited for y'all. I hope you get a house with a good basement so that when I come to visit it can be just like old times.

Well now that you have all that extra money from your profitable sale I think a trip back to visit Chicago is much in order!
