ring-less and fancy free

Sometimes I forget to wear my wedding ring. Not a big deal - I mean I'm still married in my heart. I know of my propensity to forget this important piece of hardware and have previously taken action to prevent any issues. For example, at my old job I had a beautiful (what looked like to be about 5 karats) ring purchased from Target for approximately $3 in my desk drawer. When my ring finger would feel naked - I'd put it on and work away. With the job transition I haven't really moved into the office and so, it is true, sometimes I go ring-less. All day. Not a big deal until a student I was advising said the following, "I see that you aren't married . . . I have a brother that is in law school that would be perfect for you!"

I politely declined.

Look at you go KT! BYU doesn't know what hit it!

Don't worry--I would say I wear my wedding ring 5%-15% of the time. I still consider myself married as well.

These BYU stories are a lot more exciting than the Jenner ones, I have to admit.

I am appalled at both you and Lindy for not wearing your rings. You have taken this "trail separation" (as I like to call the last few weeks while Ross was still in Chicago) a little too far. A modest woman would not be caught dead without her wedding ring on in public. It's disgraceful! I don't know how your husbands put up with you. I really don't.

um...that should be TRIAL separation not trail.

You can get a tatoo on your finger, so even when the ring isn't there it looks like it is on... or keep a couple extra $3 bling rings on hand (er, in your purse or whatever).
Or maybe wear a cool t-shirt that says something like "Mrs. Ross" or "Sorry boys, I'm taken."
Or do all three things so everyone will be sure.
