I've made a huge mistake

Last night Mr. Greg and I were out running errands when he convinced me to go to the "GameStop." Whatever. Sure. I'm a good wife . . . so I went in where Greg spent ten minutes trying to explain to me why it was a good idea to get a Tony Hawk skateboard game. I told him that this wasn't a good idea to buy games for something (the PS2) that we want to replace with the very hip wii . . . eventually. Because the wii is sold out everywhere I felt very safe when I said, "Let's not get (the stupid) Tony Hawk game but if they have a wii . . . we'll get it." (I'm still suffering from horrible lack of a good birthday guilt). Well junk in the trunk they had it. Whatever - lucky(?) us - I find that I am very, very, very good at boxing.

oooh. I have heard that the Wii is bundles of fun. Enjoy... but not too much.

See, that's a way better gift than silly old Star Wars sheets! Not to mention you can get a nice little workout using the Wii, what a deal!

It could have been worse, I don't think they have any star wars games for it! :) We are making our kids save up their money to get one. At the rate they are going maybe they won't be making them anymore. We have played them before and I must admit they are pretty fun. At least the kids have to get up and move around for most of the games and not just sit there like brain dead couch potatoes.

Welcome to my world.

My "pro" status as a bowler has given me a false sense of accomplishment, though. It will be so hard to go from breaking 200 to not being able to break 100 in real life.

Enjoy!

Excellent... everything is proceeding exactly as I have foreseen.

While there are currently no Star Wars games for the Wii, soon there will be... there will be.
one inspired by the recent cartoon/movie
and more importantly
this one.

Seriously, G good job with the bait-and-switch from the $20-$40 Tony Hawk game to the $250 Wii system. Well played.

Jaacen - Greg has been talking about that game for the past month. I'm afraid it's only more fodder for the title of this post, I really have made a huge mistake - but I am getting better and better at the ridiculous scarecrow tipping game.

Kitty, I love how you try to spin this story to make it look like you are a saint of a wife for putting up with the burden of letting Ross get a Wii. I find it a bit hard to swallow considering that every time I call you I'm told "I can't talk now, I'm playing Wii and I need to concentrate...oh, I'm soooo good at it!!!"

Our boys (Daddy included) got one from Santa.... who, for the record, sat out at 3 am on the ice-cold, very-hard concrete for 5 hours on the morning after Thanksgiving in HOPES of MAYBE getting one of the 5 they were advertising... Thus, we LOVE our Wii! I guess true sacrifice yields true gratitude and devotion, after all.

And a tip if I may... Buy the Sports Pack. (They are attachments that you put onto your controller to make the motions more "lifelike". There's a golf club, a tennis racket, baseball bat, etc.) It's a hoot!

Well, back to it, kiddies... go enjoy!

I've still never played the Wii and then I had some hopes of getting one for my birthday...until we looked at the price. It must be nice to have two high powered professionals in one place! Do something extra fun for me. I've seen you play DDR, so I know you are always dying to move those arms.

Greg and my boys could be pals if we lived in the same neighborhood- Baseball, Star Wars, Wii...

Karl just sent me an e-mail with a link to the infamous Star Wars sheets... threatening that if I didn't buy them for Samuel that he is going to buy them for our bed. What is with these sheets? With Karl's addictive personality, I would take the sheets over the Wii any day.
