I can't help it - Sarah just makes me happy. Today is her big day - that's right she is turning six years old. I could say a lot of nice things about her - how she always makes me smile, how she can swim like a fish, how I loved loved loved holding hands with her while watching Kung Fu Panda a couple of weeks ago, how she is so friendly and kind to literally everyone she meets and how I still have the image burned in my mind of how I had Haylee cut her hair too short on accident and Sarah just kept staring at me like "what the freak are you doing?" (she was only 2 years old at the time) - sorry about that. But really - Sarah is fantastic -I am sad she is getting so big but at the same time glad because I love watching her grow up.
Here she is on her last day of kindergarten (with Drake - together the "Dynamic Duo") here is another talent of Sarah's - she does her own hair!
Happy Birthday - also we still haven't got you your present yet but you know . . . I just like to keep the birthday thing going all month long.

Happy Birthday Sarah! You look most mature and beautiful. I hope your six year old year is as fun as mine was!
Oh it is starting off with a bang -the magic (gymnastic?) schoolbus is coming to her house and she and her friends are going to be doing all sorts of gymnastic tricks on the bus (I'm not really sure how it works but my sister assures me it is awesome).
Oh man that sounds like a blast!
Happy Birthday, Sarah! Your hair looks sensational -- I'm really impressed that you can do it yourself. Have a great time on the magic schoolbus!
Happy Birthday Sarah! I can't wait to sing to you when we see you next week!
Six?!? Sarah, I thought you were turning 16 this year. I was going to buy you a new car for your birthday, but now that seems almost inappropriate. I have to admit I'm a bit jealous about the magic school bus of gymnatic awesomeness. That sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe I should look into getting that for my birthday. Hope you had a great day and a great year ahead!
Oh Todd - you would be too big for that bus. Seriously - Lauren couldn't even play on it and Lauren while tall - is small. I'm sure that Sarah will appreciate any gift - even if it isn't a brand new car.
