Well another birthday - over and it's official I'm going to start lying about my age - for real. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld, really all a birthday is - "is congratulations! you didn't die this year." I think me and Ross both breathed a sigh of relief as we went to sleep - being grateful that we avoided any "special occasion cries." Birthday's are always a little bit tricky - I want them quiet but at the same time awesome . . . and noticed. A fine line . . . a fine line indeed.
This year worked out great - it was quiet but not too quiet. And thanks to family and some very sweet friends I felt very loved. Although I still haven't gone around to collect all of the items that Lindy promised me she ordered - I did receive a few "dream" items. An edible arrangement from my sister, for starters. (On a sidenote those things are so overpriced it is ridiculous).
Every year I am always reminded how nice it is to be remembered on "my special day" and I vow to do better. A shout out to my friend Mindy - she sent me crystal light packets - the Pinks - who sent me an apron that made Ross giggle - Toddcat who encourages me to love Jessica Fletcher (to Ross's chagrin) and a lot of e-mails and messages - all thoughtful and awesome. Ross took me to "Jersey Boys" where we celebrated with a lot of other 50 to 60 year olds singing it up with "The Four Seasons." It was great. Here's to another year of "not dying."

I'm glad and impressed that you've avoided the special occasion cry altogether. I'm also sorry about your gifts getting stolen...tough break.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Kitty, I'm glad you're not dead and I hope you will manage to keep yourself alive for at least another year. At your age that is a real accomplishment.
We're glad that you had a great birthday! I hope you enjoyed your musical number we left on your phone! Happy Birthday!
