Not to make anyone jealous but last night we filed our taxes. That's right filed. We aren't messing around - the government has been earning interest off our money and we want it back. I love paying tithing for many reasons but right now the biggest reason is . . . it is a great tax break!

I too can witness as to the tax benefits of paying tithing. I haven't filed yet -- because, let's be honest, it seems a little "in your face, i'm an awesome tax lawyer" to file this early in february -- but i did do a brief estimate of the damage a little while ago and tithing is saving me -- temporally and spiritually.
So we're all of a sudden paying taxes now?
