Holly Homemaker comes to visit

You may be wondering what I have been doing in the colder than cold weather. . . or not. No matter - I thought I'd post a picture. Apparently with it being so dang cold outside my wife-self has really taken over. On Monday I even made dinner (see meatloaf in picture) - Ross couldn't believe it (and neither could I). This past weekend we also made two pots of soup (we bought too many ingredients - our house has smelled of soup ever since). I have also been knitting up a storm - check out the ipod cozy, scarfs, hat, and yes, a sweater (it is debatable whether this sweater will ever be worn in public - but it is finished). Next project? Probably a nap - and to finish my bookclub book and maybe wash my hair.

What do mean "finish" the book club book? You'd have to START reading it before you can finish it.

And knit me something new already.

Looks like you have been keeping busy!! All your projects look top grade A! I don't think I could ever catch up with your knitting skills! I did barge in on someone's lesson plans in the ward this saturday. We'll see how it goes!

It is all just beautiful. May I add that in addition to your homemaker roles, you also are a private instructor on the side. No one pegs you as the homemaker type, but really you just have them all fooled.

I peg you as the homemaker type. I do!

Lindy, if you pegged Kitty as the homemaler type you clearly have not seen the huge dust bunnies hopping across her hard wood floors.

I clearly need to send you a copy of the popular make a mix book so your homemaking skills can continue to flourish. I'm still waiting (15 years waiting) for my homemaking skills to click in.

Carrie, you don't need homemaking skills. You have an entire team of workers (aka children) to do all your homemaking for you. What you need are management skills to keep them in line and making them efficient worker bees.

T, so glad that you are blogging and so I can catch up with you. Greg and I were in Chicago 2 weeks ago and saw "Wicked." We also ended getting a bunch of subway tickets on accident that we will never use! Do you take the subway? I could mail them to you. Anyway, you are amazing with all your cooking and knitting.
