The Christmas Tradition Continues

Before getting married I was always a little jealous of the families that all received matching pajamas for Christmas. I don't know why - I just was. So when I got married I decided that I was going to start that tradition. The trick is - because it is my thing I am in charge of the Christmas pajamas (i.e. Ross has nothing to do with it). This year, because things were so crazy, the night before going to China I started to freak out because I hadn't bought the pajamas and I wanted to make sure there were three sets since we would be celebrating with my brother. Well, crisis averted - you can find pajamas in China. Here is a picture of the three of us in our pajamas looking very, very tired. And no, none of us slept in these ultra fancy "pajamas" that came with shoulder pads. Kudos to Ross and Kiki for humoring me and my tradition.

That really was at least an eleven kimono trip, but those pajamas were pretty good too.

Wow! Those pajamas really are beautiful. (I love the pajamas on Christmas Eve tradition -- and I'm very grateful that my mother still indulges me. Mine were green this year.)

We also received a set of Christmas pajamas from each of our parents this year! You guys look fabulous. It looks to me like that should have been a 12 kimono trip!

I don't understand what is up with all of you people and your obsession with Christmas pajamas. I will just chalk this up as yet another weird quirk of your Mormon culture. Although seeing those dragon PJs certainly makes the tradition appealing to us non-Mormons. Is this your sneaky way of drawing in more recruits?

There is nothing sneaky about these amazing 100% pure silk dragon pajamas. Toddcat- you are just sad that your mother didn't make you some pajamas. Admit it. And if she did make you some they would have been made out of velour instead of terry cloth - because she knows what you want better than you do.

Hey, thanks for the Christmas letter and picture. It's our favorite letter to get. It's always very funny and well written. Hope you enjoyed Christmas in China!
