China Pics

It has taken me too long, but I finally got some pictures organized from out trip to China. Here is a sample:

We took about 700 pictures while there and didn't want anyone to fall over asleep looking at all those pictures. So we have been busy selecting our favorites. The full set is on our Flickr site (Link). As usual, photos just don't do the trip justice. They are mostly just place cards for our memories, but some of them did turn out well. It was such a beautiful place to visit. Hopefully you will at least get a glimpse of the China we enjoyed.

Let me be the first to say those are beautiful photos. Seriously--like a calendar. With 700 photos, you could make calendars for the rest of your life.

Do you think you're better than me because you've been to China? Huh? Because that's what it seems like.

Also, I'll grudgingly tell you that the pictures are awesome!

Let's just say that Greg's camera is awesome - and it helps that he knows how to take pictures.

And yes, Lindy, we do think that we are better than you because we have been to China. But wait - you got to live in London for a bit - so maybe you are better than us ?

You make a good point--I think I AM better than you guys.

Well, I know no one asked my opinion, but I think that London is cooler than China, so arguably Lindy is chic-er than y'all. On the other hand, China is more exotic than London, so, in fact, y'all are hipper than Lindy.

Also, these are great pictures and they look especially snazzy spread across my brand spankin' new dual monitors--which, incidentally, probably makes me chic-er and hipper than both of you.

You guys would be really chic if you answered the question thats been waiting all alone on The Finer Things for days, just days!

I am working on that! But I just finished Harry Potter book 7 and so now I am only on page 35 of the book club book. I have a lot of reading to do tonight. A lot.

Harry Potter 7 is just one of the best books ever. If you have to ignore my book club selection for another book, I'm glad it's Harry Potter.

When I went to your flickr account all that came up was a bunch of asians in bikinis? Did Greg put up the wrong link to the "private" photos?

Seriously though--very cool. Great camera and photographer.

Following your footsteps, I may be going to China in Oct as part of a BYU study abroad program. To lecture for a couple of weeks, not as a student.

Yeah, Greg, not that I didn't really enjoy those exotic pictures, but where are the rest?

KTC and Lindy, you are both hip and chic, but since I lived in the Baltics, which--ask any European--are THE place to holiday in 2007-2008, I am chic-er and hipper than both of you. (But you are arguably both better than me.)

Abby, you are cultured because you've been to Moscow (as am I for the same reason) and Italy, but you are not hip and chic because of the monitors. But I do like your hair.
