We got a ticket last week for parking in a street cleaning area. They posted the sign less than 24 hours before we got the ticket. Nice, very nice. At least give us some notice. So in the envelope that I am sending to City Hall, I am including this photo and a note stating that it is hard to know where to park sometimes in Chicago. Especially with examples like this. How many violations can you spot?

What is not pictured is the police man who managed to squeeze himself out of the paddy wagon. Trust me, all criminals are safe from being caught if this 300 lb police man is representative of the rest of "Chicago's Finest."

You are fighting that ticket right? They are required to give you 24 hour notice.. Also the department of revenue reigns with power and domination over the people of Chicago. Something about it just doesn't seem right.
Ross, are you crazy??? You can't mess with the man. They won't take this lightly if they catch wind of you scathing blog post. They will be out to get you for this. You'd better sleep with one eye open.
