They're here . . .

We have celebrated three Halloween's together and each Halloween we have watched a different scary movie. Don't judge us--but the first two Halloween movies were Year 1: Friday the 13th (the original), Year 2: Scream (the original), and this year---Poltergeist. It was pseudo scary. I think the part Ross liked best was trying to identify all of the Star Wars toys the brother had in his bedroom. You know, the bedroom that eventually became possessed. I also enjoyed the cameo by that little lady who was not only the one who removed the Poltergeist (or so they thought) but also "starred" in "Sixteen Candles" as the weird-o organist for the wedding who walks down the aisle and makes that odd noise. But I digress---Poltergeist--our scary movie tradition continues.

Kitty, I think we both know that the reason that kid's room became possessed was because of all of the Star Wars toys in it. You are running the same risk in your own home by letting Ross keep his toys there. When it happens, don't say I didn't warn you.

I think Todd is right. Besides, leaving those toys out is not only like begging to have your house possessed, it is also begging to have your house robbed. Those toys have got to be worth a fortune!

Todd -- before you ask about it, I accidentally posted my comment twice and although some of my blog comments are worth a double-posting, I'm not sure that this one was, so I deleted it.

Abby--thank you for preventing Todd from making a snide remark. You are right, Ross's toys are worth a fortune. . . to a ten year old and to Drake.

I watched this movie for the first time my sophomore year of college and I was quite scared! In fact, after the movie my roommates and I saw some guy walking along 500 N looking up into people's apartments so we called the police. We didn't want to take any chances in case he was that clown. Turns out he was just some guy going around making sure boys and girls were separate that late at night. Huh.

Abby- Thank you for clarifying the situation about the deleted blog, because I would have questioned it. Kitty always talks me into questioning these things for her so she can look like a good person and yet still get answers. Don't be fooled by her manipulative ways. This reminds me of a story...
One time I told Kitty and Ross how I was in a quandary and didn't know what to do. I found myself imagining a little angel on one shoulder telling me to do the right thing and a little devil on the other shoulder trying to lead me astray. The interesting part of this story is that the whole time I pictured Ross as the angel and Kitty as the devil. Obviously, my subconscious sees right through to people's real character.

Todd--I can't believe you just told the whole world that story! You know that it is Ross who has us both fooled!

Your're right. I should be saving sotries like that for our soon to be published combinded autobiography "Tender Vittles: Heartwarming Stories from the 9 Lives of Kitty and ToddCat".
