This Thanksgiving weekend I had a lot of time to knit my heart out. This is my latest project. A scarf for Ross. For you faithful readers you'll remember I knitted a scarf for Todd but now that we are broken up I wish so badly I could get back that piece of artwork. Instead of lamenting about it I decided to make my husband a much better and much nicer and much higher quality product. This picture is the result. I am taking orders for Christmas. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone will be able to afford my hourly rate.

That is a mighty fine piece of work. After seeing this I just can't wait to learn. Poor Todd, he only thought his scarf was the best... wait until he feasts his eyes on this baby.
Wow! KT, you are becoming quite domestic.
Kitty, you are such a bfj for always giving Ross your best work instead of me. Perhaps this is why we are broken up...because you give me the first draft of a project where you can be free to make all sorts of mistakes to delay delivery of the finished product for months and months (I sure could have used a warm scarf last winter), but now that you have gotten your practice scarf done and dumped off on me you can make Ross that delujo scarf in what seems like lightening speed. I don't get it. I am sick and tired of always being number 2 with you. The ToddCat deserves better. I demand you knit me another fine woolen garment of ever greater and more superior delujo-ness than the one you are making Ross. If I don't see some work on something new for me soon (perhaps a kick-ascot) I may have to shop around for a new BF. I know these are harsh words, but I think that may be just what you need to get your priorties in order.
Lindy--you reall should just start claling me Martha Stewart. I think I will work next on the famous "prison poncho" that she designed while serving "time."
I have no comment to Todd. I will knit him a kick-ascot that will be amazing. A kick-ascot that will stop everyone who sees them in their tracks. On a sidenote-I'm glad to know that he has found his voice. Even if it means that he is a bjf--and bjf is not short for a beautiful, friendly, jazzy person--it is short for big fat jerk!
Todd - what's the deal? I thought I was your new best friend. I am learning to knit as we type, and some season soon I hope be able to knit my way into your heart.
KTC - where are my knitted goods?
Oh, Jill, you will be my new BFF just as soon as I get a handy craft from you that is superior to the one Kitty has given me. We need to discuss what it is that I want you to make for me as a surprise gift. It is a terrible shame that Kitty and I had to break up, but I am glad that you are there for me to pick up the pieces.
Todd-if you think you can get rid of me that easily you are a sorry sap indeed. So sorry that you should stuff those sorry's in a sack. You know so little about Jill-she is not crafty. But if you did ask her to come and clorox your house and make your life germ free-she could do it better than anyone I know. Anyone. You can't get rid of me-and I defy anyone to make a superior scarf for you. It is impossible--that baby alpaca yarn just warms the throat like nothing else.
