Ross loves shoes . . .

Ross is a bit of a shoe-a-holic. This weekend (after herding cats) we went out and congratulated ourselves for being such good people by buying Ross a new pair of shoes. These aren't just any pair of shoes, however, these are shoes that he LOVES. In fact, this is his third pair of these same types of shoes. I, on the other hand, do not love these shoes because the nubs on his previous pair of shoes came off all the time. I would find these black nubs all over the floor in the Provo house. Ross convinced me that the pair was just a "bad batch" and Adidas has corrected the problem. I am hoping that by having these shoes Ross will abide by the family rule and actually take his shoes off when he walks into the house.

I completely agree with the idea of rewarding yourself for being a good person and those shoes are an excellent choice. I've heard those are the most comfortable sandals. (I don't know from personal experience because I can't seem to buy anything but the $3 Old Navy flip-flops and then wear them until they have molded themselves into the exact shape of my feet.)

I get my love of many shoes from my great-grandmother. Grandma West, as we knew her, was known to have many a pair of shoes. It's genetic, don't judge me. Also, this is probably my 4th or 5th pair of these beauties and my feet are feeling good in them. Now if only I could convince KT of how much I need the other 15 pairs of shoes I want . . .

Why is there no picture of these shoes posted? I need to see Ross modeling them before I can pass judgment...uh, I mean comment... on how ridiculous they are (I'm just guessing that to be the case).
