Ode to Diet Dr. Pepper

I am trying to blog more. It makes life more exciting . . . the only problem is. . . I don't have much to say. So I will instead create an ode to my favorite "soda" (or "coke" if you are from Texas)---Diet Dr. Pepper. I love this stuff. I also love fruit punch crystal lite (but you can't find it at every dominick's so when you do find it you have to stock up).

One of the reasons our marriage works so well is that I too love the delicious taste of Dr. Pepper. I like to think of it as a refined taste. It is a beautiful creation.

Plus, Diet DP tastes more like the real DP than most diet soft drinks. That's what I'm a Pepper. Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper, too?

Here Here. I love the stuff, even if I am a Diet Coke girl at heart, there is a little piece left over for Diet Dr. Pepper! In fact, I think I shall go get one right now! Good Marketing!

Yes, everytime you speak of this drink I salivate for one. Fruit Punch Crystal light is hard to come bye, picked it up at the Strak the other day.. Always stocked!

As cokes go, diet dr. pepper is an excellent substitute when diet cokes are hard to come by. Thanks for your real dedication to diet carbonated, caffeinated beverages.

I'm a little hesitant to comment on this particular post--you know, avoid the appearance of evil and all that--but I do have to say that of although I cannot speak to how closely the diet resembles the original, I will say that the caffeine-free Diet Dr. Pepper is the best caffeine-free diet coke--used in the Texan sense--I've ever had.

(Oh how I wish we were back at BYU so that this post could set off another round of truly enlightening and inspiring letters to the editor. Ah. The good old days of The Daily Universe.)
