Last night I dreamt that me and Ross and our friend Todd were babysitting (or tending, if you will) my friend Lindy's baby, Lucy. In this dream we were not only excellent babysitters but Lucy (at 3 months) was able to speak in complete sentences. Lucy kept saying, "I'm so glad that families are forever." The whole time I kept thinking, "Oh, it is so good for Todd to hear this" [after all he isn't Mormon].
I think I dreamt this for two reasons: (1) I am so proud of myself for giving her the bumbo chair because Lucy obviously enjoys it and (2) I am concerned that Lucy is watching way too much television. Way too much.

KT--it would seem that all of that television has really made her smart. I mean three months is early by any standard to be speaking in complete sentences. Now I'm confident I've made the right choice to sit her in her Bumbo in front of the TV while I lunch and shop with friends.
I just don't understand your Mormon culture of families and foreverness. Are you trying to convert me through your mystical dream interpretations?
I am with Lindy on this one. Your dream only goes to prove that TV is the best way to teach our nation's youth. How can be watching too much TV? That is like saying she is breathing too much air.
I have to agree with Lindy--especially because not only is she learning important skills for life (i.e. speaking and expressing her feelings), but she is evidently learning eternal principles as well. So go lunching and shopping, Lindy--in fact, maybe you should head out here to Montgomery to go lunching and shopping with me. I'd be happy to provide Lucy with VeggieTales and Backyardigans dvds to watch while we're out.
I just have to say that baby in that chair is adorable. Good going KTC. Whatever it takes Todd, whatever it takes!
Abby--your offer is intriguing. I think I'll have to take you up on that. I miss you!!!!!!
