Greg (aka Ross or "the better half") and I have officially been married over 1,051,200 minutes---that is 17,520 hours, 730 days or 2 years. Yowser. I decided to post two action shots from our wedding day.
I think this week I will have to post a bunch about how much I won the lottery by marrying him . . . but now is the time for everyone to start commenting on what a great match we make and how much you wish to pattern your life and marriage after ours . . .

I am honored to be the first to blog-comment-wish you both a happy 2,073,600 minute anniversary. As your marriage counselor I know what a bumpy road it has been. It seems like just last summer the three of us went on your honeymoon together. We need to start planning another honeymoon to rekindle those romantic flames.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
1440 Days, does that mean marriage has felt like almost double (4 years)? Because that is how long 1440 days is. But none the less I hope you had a happy four years and heres to another 4x70. Happy Anniversary!!!!!
yowser--blame it on a late night post--my math skills needed some help. I have since edited to correct my ridiculous mistakes. For the record--during college I did work in the math lab--but we did tricky math--not just multiplication and division.
Wow, what a great day that was 2 years ago. I just remember Krissi you coming home about a week after being married to Greg and saying to me, " Mom, I really like living with him" that was music to my ears because we love you so much and wanted and prayed for you that you could find happiness with someone that you love and you have. Greg is such an awesome guy, you did win the lottery and we did too. He is a great asset to our family. Thanks to both of you for all the kind things you do, like stayinhg in touch with the family and making all the nieces and nephews feel so important in your life. We will never forget the summer you both came out to help Kevin and Telacia and actually it was me you were helping because you gave me a break and it helped me to do all I wanted and needed to do to help that little family get back on their feet. Here's to many more years of wedding bliss. love, MOM and DAD
...or simple counting apparently.
CONGRATULATIONS! I didn't go on the honeymoon but I have to agree with Todd that time just flies. It seems like just yesterday you showed up on our doorstep to introduce us to Ross for the first time and he came right in our house and started insulting us. ("Ah--Pride and Prejudice. The trademark of every woman's apartment at BYU." Yeah, Ross. That remark still smarts. It's not my fault that Jill's tastes are so cliche.) It also seems like just yesterday that I was leaving the law school late at night, walking unsuspectingly to my car, and finding you and Ross making out in the white wagon. Gross!
Anyway. Congratulations again! Y'all are two of my favorite people and it's double the fun when your favorite people are each others favorite people as well. Mazel Tov!
Well, they wouldn't let us make out in the library anymore. So we were left to the Subaru. Thanks for walking by and pretending not to notice! If only the University Police had minded their own beeswax.inc as well.
Abby, I know just how grossed out you feel. I once caught Kitty and Ross making out at the movies...and the movie was Schindler's List?
Poor poor Todd and Abby. Abby, for having such bad eyesight that what she thought was some sort of kissing was actually two adults talking in a beautiful white subaru because it was cold and wet outside. Todd for watching too much Seinfeld and then attributing that ridiculousness to the Carlklef life. Might I remind you Todd, you never even met Ross until you came on our honeymoon with us!
You make is sound as if I was a third wheel on that honeymoon. Clearly the reason I needed to chaperon your honeymoon is because the two of you had already developed quite a reputation for PDA. We did not need an international incident on our hands just because the two of you are always making out everywhere you go with little regard for the innocent bystanders who are subjected to your immodest behavior.
Yeah! You tell them KT. From what we have heard, the real action was going on in the CRV. Fogged windows and soft harmonium music.
Maybe Todd just felt like he was there because he heard so many complaints from your law school friends.
Ross, you could have kept making out in the library--you just had to stay downstairs with the undergrads.
Those Carlklefs are into all sorts of freaky things.
aaaaaahahahahahah!!! KTC...how is it possible that I am one of your friends? These people are hilarious. YOU are hilarious...as is Ross. Just had to let you know I look forward to checking your blog and laughing at all the witty banter....and checking out all the fun stuff you're up to. Keep it up -- and CONGRATS on the 2 year mark!
P.S. Le Boudoir d'amos is available for viewing :o)
Miss you.
You and Ross make a great match and I wish to pattern my life and marriage after yours.
Happy Anniversary and congratulations to the both of you for winning the lottery!
{I'm kind of grateful I have nothing to add to the make out and honeymoon discussions...)
Happy Anniversary! Before you got married to Ross, I really didn't feel like we had anything to talk about. Now that I see your marital bliss we can talk about that. Your marriage has really strengthened our friendship.
Lindy, that's interesting that their marriage has strengthened your friendship with Kitty. My friendship with Kitty has been weakened by their marriage because Ross is always interrupting our phone conversations. Ross is an excellent tour guide, though, so I guess we will keep him around. Plus, I hear he also cooks a delicious egg in only 45 minutes. Just try finding another guy who can do that.
My favorite trip to Zion's was Ross and KTC's honeymoon. It was so nice to be invited, and it was even nicer to be included in the hike. They were always the couple who loved to do fun things. Congratulations and God bless.
ALSO EVERYONE - please know that Abby in her comment said my tastes were cliche. That may be true, but ABBY IS THE ONE WHO OWNED PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!
