My Mom aka "the work horse" has come to visit us this weekend. My dad (el pops) doesn't arrive until Friday. My Mom came early to pretty much organize our house. Greg and I left for work this morning and instructed my Mom to do whatever she wants. We got home tonight and wallah . . . she pretty much organized her head off. Our house looks great. Our kitchen cupboards have now been cleaned out and we can access everything we want. Our bedroom doesn't look like a dorm room anymore. It's amazing what a human touch can do. I think I should hire my mom out to perform this service for others. This is a picture of me and my Mom at my law school graduation. It really isn't the best picture of either one of us but you know--I wanted to give you a visual image. I really wish I had a picture of her with a broom and her beloved Oreck vacuum.

I would love to have "the work horse" come to KC and clean my disgusting office, but I think what it really needs is a gallon of gasoline and a match. I hope you are going to keep the parents entertained is ways that don't involve doing household chores, but I still think they should be assembling the rest of your shelves. Give the Carlstons my best!

You know I live just down the road, and... my house could use some organizing. J/K I sure hope I can meet this amazing woman while she is here. And I am jealous becuase your mom loves you. I used it on my mom that yours was coming, since it has been almost 4 years since she has gotten on a plane to come and see me. Kudos to your parents
Ok, honestly, you crack me up! Had I known you had need for organization I would have volunteered. How fun to have the parental units in town, I look forward to seeing them on Sunday. I'm gonna make you guess who this is!
KTC, I didn't know you graduated again. Was it in Excel? If it was, I'm proud of you.
