Reading Round-Up

The end of November and I have read fifty (50!) books this year. Oh I'm so close to this goal I can taste it. Too bad I've hit a reading lull and am instead required to read approximately 5,000 papers in order to get my grades turned in. Oh well. I will accomplish this goal - but it might be kind of tight. But here is my review for the month:

1. Reading Magic - Mem Fox - this was a great great great book reminding me about the importance of reading to Henry. It also made me feel awesome that we got rid of cable and a lot of times use books on cd as entertainment. Now if only Henry didn't want to eat the pages to all the books.

2. Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn - SO FUN! Lindy - you definitely should read this book. Some people complained about the ending - I found it funny (in a twisted sense) and quite appropriate.

3. Happier at Home - Gretchen Ruben - seriously this was the Happiness Project 2.0. She drives me a little batty but at the same time - she has some amazing book recommendations and quotes that I love. It was worth it - even if I wouldn't consider this a must read.

4. Sharp Objects - Gillian Flynn. TURKEY. (Sorry Justin). Don't bother with this one.

  2. This is one of those goals that seemed impossible but became possible because you wanted to reach that goal you set for yourself. Awesome, I have
only read 30, but that is okay. I didn't have any big goal set, just make sure I have a book to read and enjoy. Such a great FEAT you accomplished!!!
