blog slacker . . .

I have an excuse for nil posting. I've been off enjoying the pleasures of girl's camp. I got so good at camping that I have decided to continue not showering. It is such a delight to just wake up in the morning and be ready for the day. Maybe I'll brush my hair - maybe I won't. It really just depends - I'm taking camping to the office.

I thought that I would come home and find a bunch of postings by Greg about how much he was missing me while I was off being awesome. But nope. At least the house was clean.

For the record I am behind on a bunch of stuff. Holy cow. Tonight = work and more work. And I have a bee in my bonnet about some incompetent people working at a "not to be named" copy center. I am calling their manager. That's right.

I'm back - the manager is gone for the day. Gone at 3:15 p.m. Their junky customer service is all starting to make sense.

At girls camp I took one picture. That's right - just one picture. And it was a picture of my horrible sunburn to document to Greg that I wasn't being a baby. For the record - I also sent some pictures of the catastrophic sunburn of 2010 to my bus-driver/surgeon brother and he agreed with me that it was b-a-d.

We are starting "the game" take 2 next week. If you want in - let me know - we had a great time and my team won so, of course, I think it is awesome.

Other than complain about your sunburn what kinds of awesome things did you do at spa week (or "camp" as you call it)?

We did a lot of awesome things including singing camp songs, camp songs, and more camp songs. We attended a lot of flag ceremonies. And of course, I knitted while chatting. I'm a multi-tasker that way.

And no doubt kept applying excessive coats of bronzer to you legs to generate lots of sympathy.

I am in for the game--I may have undone all of the progress of the last six weeks in the past 8 days. I would say moderation is not my strong point.

You really are my hero for going to girl's camp.
