don't judge

So we still haven't made it to the grocery store. Our fridge and cupboards are barren. However, thanks to a deal where we got Kellogg's cereal for $.67 a box - we are flush with rice krispies, raisin bran, crispix, apple jacks, and corn flakes. Yesterday - breakfast and dinner consisted of this deliciousness. And not having any fresh milk doesn't stop us - we decided to "rotate" our food storage and we opened up some of our powdered milk. That's right - powdered milk - that's how much neither one of us, apparently, wants to go to the grocery store. Is it bad to say that, actually, the powdered milk tastes just fine? (better than Shur Saving milk from "Fresh Market" for sure)

Well I've experienced Kitty's cooking so the fact that you think powdered milk id delicious doens't surprise me in the least.

Just kidding, but thinking about eating cereal with powdered milk makes me want to TUIMM!

My mom used to try to fool us by mixing a half a gallon of milk with a half a gallon of powdered. We noticed every time. I have to say you two.... GROSS!!!

Now are you going to start posting food storage recipes? Personally I think powdered milk is for emergencies and maybe last night qualified as one. Come on you two, get to the store already!

What can I do with canned tomato sauce and tomato paste, canned coconut milk, and canned green chillies?? Oh, and rice?
